Job Title: Jr. Production Executive - IoT-Based Smart Water Meters Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Line Operator with a background in electronics or a related field to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of IoT-based smart water meters, ensuring the integration of electronic components and IoT functionality. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble IoT-based smart water meters by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assembly instructions. - Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including wiring, connecting electronic components, and sealing parts. - Ensure proper integration of IoT technologies and electrical components to meet product specifications and quality standards. - Test assembled smart water meters to verify functionality, including connectivity, sensor performance, and battery life. - Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet the required quality control standards before they are packaged and shipped. - Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly or functional issues, including connectivity or sensor problems. - Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes, including testing results and any discrepancies. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. - Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. - Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to optimize the assembly process and product quality. Qualifications: - Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (required). - Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing, preferably with electronics or IoT devices (preferred but not required). - Understanding of electronics, sensors, and IoT technology integration. - Basic knowledge of assembly tools, soldering techniques, and electrical testing equipment. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and schematics. - Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with small electronic components. - ⁠Prior knowledge in soldering (required). - Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a team environment, meet production targets, and adhere to deadlines. - Strong commitment to quality control and safety practices in manufacturing environments. - Good communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members. Working Conditions: - Full-time position based in a manufacturing environment, with work performed on the assembly line. - The role may require standing for long periods and handling small components. - Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.
