Production Engineer

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare project planning & scheduling for the Mass Production
• Source and negotiate with suppliers, EMS vendors, and logistics partners for raw materials and finished goods
• Coordinate with different departments, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor production progress and address any deviations from the plan.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock
• Monitor production schedules, track work orders, and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in production processes for smooth operations.

Production Coordination:

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely manufacturing and order fulfillment.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in production processes for smooth operations.
• Work closely with EMS production, quality control teams and internal Design teams to ensure production meets company Quality standards.
• Provide & ensure all Engineering documents available for mass production to EMS vendors
• Document production & Quality activities, including design changes, approvals, and final reports

Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all project activities adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct EMS site inspections and audits to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement corrective actions to resolve any quality or safety issues.

Vendor & Client Coordination:

• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Negotiate with vendors to procure necessary materials and services.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Logistics & Distribution:

• Coordinate shipments and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery to customers Optimize transportation costs and ensure compliance with shipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and purchase orders.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics/ Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in Electronics manufacturing in Automotive Electronics industry
