Production Engineer
Job Location

Jamnagar

Experience

6 to 13 years

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor production processes, optimize workflows, and maintain efficiency.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement corrective actions when needed.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, quality, supply chain) to resolve production issues.
Maintain production records, documentation, and prepare reports for management review.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, wastage, and costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on the shop floor.
Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery as required.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of production planning and process optimization.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production-related issues.
Good knowledge of machinery, tools, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / etc. preferred).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
