Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Identify all issues in team and provide continuous support to all members according to operating
• Collect and Ensure adequate information and instruction from Section-In charge / Shift Supervisor
• Supervise effective working of production personnel and prepare effective production schedules and ensure compliance to all company policies.
• Implemented & Effectiveness DWM System on every cell.
• Organise the DWM meeting with Operator and Review with them about previous day production, Quality, Maintenance and NC management also take suggestion form them take action on it. Also give information if the customer complains & warranty also give them today target
• Manpower handling and mange the leaves
• Organize and ensure availability of required operating personal, toolings and gauges
• Maintain records of all data attendance and provide effective training to all staff members.
• Collaborate with Quality/Inspection teams for first article inspections (FAI) and corrective actions.
• Confirm all measuring instruments and inspection devices in use are calibrated.
• Any Jigs/Fixtures validated/ calibrated by QC and used in production.
• Implemented & Sustain TPM System for Productivity and Quality
• Organize and follow up for availability of material.
• Organise and ensure transfer of products to next processing department / specific transits area as appropriate, with specific route tag.
• Check and ensure proper and relevant heat code stamping.
• Ensure proper house-keeping and follow daily layer audits and take counter-measure on the gaps
• Write brief happenings of the shifts and clear instruction for next shift supervisor in log book.
• Ensure compliance to all targets to achieve all production objectives and provide appropriate feedback to all employees

Preferred candidate profile

• BE Graduate with 3 to 6 years of exp. out of that Minimum 2 years in gear production or machining operations (preferred). in Gear Manufacturing company
• Knowledge of CNC, VMC, Programming, Grinding process
• Ready to work in any critical situation and out of box thinker
• Problem-solving attitude with analytical decision-making.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
