Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer / Mechanical Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for contributing to the production and development of Special Purpose Machines (SPM) with a focus on ultrasonic washing machines. Your deep knowledge of SolidWorks Designer, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, Piping, Jigs Fixture, and Production Planning will be essential for the role. Key Responsibilities: - Managing Shop Floor Production - Conducting PPAP Activities in Production - Scheduling Production to meet desired output timely - Cross-Coordination with Design, R&D, Electrical team for production - Handling a workmen team of 12-15 Members on the shop floor - Maintaining proper workflow system records - Coordinating with Store / Purchase to ensure fulfillment of Raw Material for the project - Conducting Production Planning activities - Monitoring Shop Floor Work Safety - Keeping up with Manpower requirement - Proper allocation of Workmen for tasks as per requirement - Assisting Purchase with Vendor Development - Participating in R&D activities with the R&D team - Providing Installation and Commissioning support Other Workflow Requirements: 1. Product Development: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for cohesive product development - Participating in brainstorming sessions and design reviews - Contributing to the development of new features for ultrasonic washing machines 2. Documentation: - Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation including BOMs, assembly instructions, and technical specifications - Preparing reports summarizing design progress, test results, and project status - Ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible 3. Project Management: - Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget - Tracking project milestones and deliverables - Communicating project status and updates to stakeholders 4. Continuous Improvement: - Staying updated with the latest advancements in ultrasonic cleaning technology and mechanical design - Implementing best practices and innovative solutions to improve product performance and efficiency - Contributing to process improvements within the design and development team Note: The role may require Travel for commissioning, Installation(s) Handling, Vendor Development, Quality Assessments, and Other R&D activities.
