Job Title: Production Coordinator

Job Purpose:

To coordinate and monitor all stages of wooden door production from material availability and machine scheduling to dispatch — ensuring smooth workflow between design, production, quality, and logistics teams for on-time delivery and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Coordination

• Prepare

  daily and weekly production schedules

  based on client priorities, project deadlines, and available capacity.
• Coordinate with the

  design, purchase, and stores

  teams to ensure all raw materials (veneers, laminates, frames, hardware) are ready before production.
• Track each production stage — cutting, pressing, finishing, and packing — to ensure targets are met.
• Maintain a

  door-wise / project-wise progress tracker

  and update management daily.

2. Process Monitoring

• Ensure that work orders are executed as per approved

  shop drawings and specifications.

• Verify that

  machine outputs and manpower utilization

  are aligned with planned targets.
• Identify bottlenecks or delays and coordinate immediate corrective actions with the respective supervisors.

3. Material & Inventory Coordination

• Work closely with the

  store and purchase teams

  to monitor material availability and consumption.
• Raise material requests for short supplies and ensure replacement for rejected materials.
• Track

  work-in-progress (WIP)

  and finished goods inventory for each project.

4. Quality & Documentation

• Coordinate with the

  Quality and Inspection

  teams to ensure product quality at each stage.
• Maintain proper documentation — production logs, rejection reports, and daily output sheets.
• Support in preparing dispatch documentation and production completion reports.

5. Client & Project Coordination

• Coordinate with

  project/site engineers

  to align production with installation requirements and delivery schedules.
• Update client/project teams on supply readiness and dispatch plans.
• Support management in preparing

  client status reports

  and project trackers.

6. Team Support & Communication

• Act as a communication link between production, design, stores, and logistics teams.
• Conduct short daily meetings with supervisors for status updates and action plans.
• Support the factory manager in manpower allocation and overtime planning.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Industrial

  Graduate with experience in wood/furniture manufacturing.

• 3–6 years of experience

  in production coordination, preferably in

  wooden doors, furniture, or interior fit-out industry.
