Strong command over business letter drafting and document presentation. Thorough knowledge of Indian taxation systems, GST processing , and audit procedures. Ability to work extended hours beyond the regular 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule, 6 days a week. Must possess own vehicle and valid driving license; residence within 10 km radius of the company. Role Overview: The Print Production Manager will be responsible for managing over 200+ production employees across departments and shifts, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) , discipline, and performance standards. The role involves comprehensive production planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate must be a smart worker with excellent managerial, technical, and time-management skills to achieve daily production targets, optimize manpower utilization, maintain superior quality standards, and minimize material wastage. Key Responsibilities: Verify and confirm new Job Cards on a daily basis. Plan and achieve production targets within strict timelines. Maintain high productivity while ensuring all Job Card commitments are met. Ensure all activities comply with company SOPs and quality standards. Conduct random quality checks on ongoing (WIP) jobs. Enforce SOPs across all production areas and processes. Monitor and control production costs to enhance profitability. Conduct weekly and monthly audits of Job Cards for accuracy and efficiency. Ensure monthly Job Card closing by the 28th of each month. Track per-person productivity and ensure Daily Production Reports (DPR) are maintained. Resolve workstation-level issues promptly and escalate where necessary. Prepare detailed reports on rejections, reworks, and raw material (RM) reissues as per SOP. Ensure daily attendance of all employees and contract workers through Supervisors/Team Leaders. Approve and manage employee leave requests within the Production Department. Monitor and control RM consumption and prevent wastage at every stage. Coordinate daily operations with Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Operators. Maintain control over RM and WIP (Work in Progress) materials. Report shortages or missing quantities immediately to management. Notify HR of manpower shortages or absenteeism affecting production schedules. Evaluate and review employee performance regularly, recommending improvements or training where required. Candidate Profile: Experience: 10 to 15 years as a Production Manager in a diversified Offset Printing & Packaging company with a monthly turnover of 3 Crores or more. Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma/Graduate in Printing Technology or related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems . Languages: Fluent in English, Kannada, and Hindi . Personality: Strong leadership presence, decisive, disciplined, and updated with the latest trends and technologies in the printing industry.
