Job Description

Role Overview

Production Assistant & Quality Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the production team in daily machining and foundry operations
  • Support planning and follow-up of production schedules and order timelines
  • Help allocate manpower and machines under guidance of senior staff
  • Record and update production data, job status, and reports
  • Perform quality checks using measurement instruments & lab devices
  • Create Dimensional Reports & Test Certificates as per quality checks
  • Coordinate between foundry, machining, and quality teams
  • Assist in identifying bottlenecks and reporting delays or issues
  • Ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or related field

  • 1 to 3 years of experience

    in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Basic knowledge of machining of castings and foundry processes
  • Ability to use measuring instruments & read 2D technical drawings
  • Familiarity with common shop-floor machines and workflows
  • Good computer skills, especially

    MS Excel

    / Word

    and basic reporting

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to ERP or production tracking systems
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow into higher responsibilities

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level
