Job Description

Role Overview

Tool Room Engineer / Technician

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture, assemble, and maintain casting molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and tooling
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC/VMC and conventional machines
Support production by ensuring timely availability and readiness of tools and fixtures
Modify and improve existing tools and fixtures to enhance productivity and accuracy
Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve tooling-related issues
Maintain records of tools, fixtures, repairs, and modifications
Ensure proper storage, handling, and calibration of tools
Follow safety, quality, and ISO procedures in the tool room

Required Qualifications & Experience

ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Fitter, Machinist, or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum two years of experience in a tool room or manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience in making and maintaining dies, jigs, and fixtures
Good understanding of machining processes and tools
Ability to use measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting CNC VMC and CNC lathe operations
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience and skills

Preferred Geographical location of candidate: Agra and surrounding areas

Salary Range: 10,000 to 16,000 per month (Annual: 1,20,000 1,92,000)

Work Location: Pratapura, Agra

Working Hours: 8:30AM 5:30PM (with 30 mins Lunch break). OT Extra if worked after hours
