Job Description

Develop and maintain relationships with business and technology personnel, Global Product Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs colleagues, Trade Associations, and/or NGOs.
Create product regulatory clearance and third-party certification strategies and implementation plans by working closely with Product Management, PSRA regulatory experts, and regional PSRA personnel.
Monitor and communicate international and regional regulations, as well as proposed regulations relevant to the business organizations and other assigned expert areas.
Facilitate external communication of regulatory topics by answering specific regulatory questions from customers via Eastmans Customer Inquiry Management system and business and technology partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Provide comprehensive regulatory support, insights, threats/opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, polymer science, or a related technical field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the chemical industry, preferably in a regulatory or stewardship role.
Strong knowledge of international and regional regulations, including those affecting chemical products.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with fluency in English.
Ability to work independently and proactively with peers, management, and external stakeholders.
Strong team player with a results-oriented approach and self-motivation.
Experience in project management or leadership is preferred.
Industry experience in automotive, building & construction, and/or plastic food contact materials is preferred.
