The ideal candidate should possess expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Gateway. You must have a deep understanding of DAX, Power Query, and various data modeling techniques. Strong SQL skills are essential for data extraction, joins, and aggregations. In the realm of Business Intelligence, you should have experience in creating executive dashboards and operational reports. A keen eye for visual design, user experience, and the ability to tell a compelling story through data are crucial skills for this role. A basic understanding or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric would be considered an additional advantage. Collaboration and delivery are key aspects of this role, so the ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments is necessary.
