Product Quality Engineer

As a Software Quality Engineer at Logitech, your role involves collaborating with SW QA and SW development teams to test the features being developed and ensure a great user experience. Your responsibilities include: - Working on the Gaming domain projects - Ensuring the delivery of a great user experience with Quality - Creating test plans and cases - Prioritizing and executing tests - Preparing detailed test reports - Tracking bugs and investigating the root cause - Performing manual QA such as functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and compatibility testing - Testing devices, integrations, drivers, protocols, etc., in the lab - Conducting nonfunctional tests like compatibility, localization, and usability - Suggesting automatable software test coverage - Actively engaging with developer and QA teams Key Qualifications: - 5 to 7 years of experience in desktop software testing - Experience in the Gaming Domain - Proficiency in different testing methodologies and testing tools - Expertise in Bluetooth, WiFi, or other wireless & networking protocols - Familiarity with basic lab equipment - Excellent bug writing skills for quicker debugging - Understanding of software development processes - Ability to communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively - Strong communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills Preferable skills and behaviors: - Relevant testing experience with PC/Device hardware - Exposure to Games and peripherals testing with a passion for gaming - Experience with Python is a bonus Education: - BE / ME in Computer Science / Computer Application or equivalent combination of education and experience Logitech is a company that values diversity, inclusion, and personal well-being.
