Product Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

1. The primary focus is to ensure that assembled products meet quality standards and customer requirements.

2. Implementing and maintaining quality control processes and procedures throughout the assembly process.

3. Identifying and investigating quality issues, defects, and deviations from standards, and implementing corrective and preventative actions.

4. Analyzing assembly processes to identify areas for improvement and recommending and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.

5. Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to quality performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.

6. Maintaining accurate records of quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions.

7. Working closely with assembly teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.

8. Ensure product and process quality.

9. Develop first time right quality documents (PPAP)

10. Coordinate with internal customers for Quality documentation and support.

11. Facilitate the information exchanges between internal & External stake holders (Customers/Partners).

12. Collaborative & Cross-functional team working with overseas plant team.

13. Reports & data management.

14. CMM programming & Inspection.

15. Skill development within the team & multitasking

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is often required.

2. Relevant experience in assembly operations, quality control, or manufacturing is typically expected.

3. Strong understanding of quality management systems (AS Certifications - AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120 / AS6081),, and other quality tools and techniques.

4. In-depth knowledge & experience in Machining, manufacturing processes, assembly & sub-assembly.

5. Expertise in metrology principles applied to geometric tolerances.

6. Strong Analytical Skill & ability read technical drawings & specifications.

7. Excellent problem sovling skill & manage activities simultaneously.

8. Strong written & verbal communication skills

9. Ability to travel as needed to support the business

Hands-on experience in handling MS office, Advanced Excel, SAP, Windchill etc.
