- Responsible for design and Develop process (Method Engineering) of industrial gears & Shaft.
- Study customer drawing, Technical feasibility & plan manufacturing processes (PFD).
- Prepare 3D models & process Drawing in Creo.
- Creation BOM, Routing, Material master & Structure in Windchill.
- Cycle time estimation & support to the costing team.
- Tools, fixture planning for the derived process.
- Adopt existing processes for planning new product development
- Gear Calculation & Heat treatment process calculation
- Ensure product and process quality.
- Develop first time right process & automation in Engineering Design process.
- Coordinate with internal customers during concurrent engineering activities with the Product engineers.
- Facilitate the information exchanges between internal & External stake holders (Customers/Partners).
- Collaborative & Cross-functional team working with overseas plant team.
- Reports & data management.
- Workload & capacity planning with internal team with coordination of internal customers.
- Skill development within the team & multitasking
Profile
- BE Mechanical
- In-depth knowledge & experience in Machining, gear cutting processes (Hobbing, shaping, Gear Grinding, turning, milling etc.)
- Expertise in metrology principles applied to geometric tolerances.
- Strong Analytical Skill & ability read technical drawings & specifications.
- Ability to lead the team of Product Engineers & work independently
- Excellent problem solving skill & manage activities simultaneously
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed to support the business
- Experience in similar roles, ideally from Machining & Gear Manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience in handling MS office (Advanced Excel, VBA, XML)
