Job Description

As a Product Owner III at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the execution of Product Management's product vision and business strategy, driving growth within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior Product Owners. - Collaborating with Product Management to influence visions, roadmaps, business strategies, and outbound marketing collateral. - Partnering with the Engineering Manager to understand the agile team's needs and advocating for them with Product Management. - Leading or supporting the development of methodologies and best practices. - Actively participating in management reviews and presentations as required. - Developing solutions to real-world market problems identified by Product Management's roadmap. - Implementing agile methodologies to develop solutions through story breakdown and agile ceremonies as a key member of an agile team. - Communicating priorities and goals at the beginning of each sprint in alignment with release goals, roadmap, and associated timelines/dependencies. - Participating in feature discovery with customers and the market to drive valuable solutions. - Maintaining a prioritized backlog of work for the development team. - Serving as the champion of the customer experience and collaborating with UX/design, product counterparts, and professional Services to deliver delightful user experiences. - Understanding Product Management's business strategy and executing it with agile development teams. - Monitoring KPI metrics diligently and driving continuous improvements within the agile team. Qualifications required for this role include: - BA/BS in a technical subject area like information science, computer science, or equivalent work experience supporting products from a technical perspective. - 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner. - Proficiency in backlog/roadmap management tools such as Jira or AHA! - Expertise in developing user stories and acceptance criteria, and effectively communicating business value to the engineering team. - Consistent experience of working with engineering on communicating commitments and delivering results. - Expertise in Agile processes and principles, with certification recommended. - Excellent communication skills for both oral and written communication, with the ability to communicate confidently across all levels in the organization. - Strong ability to interpret and analyze data to support decision-making. - Experience working with and influencing product development teams towards a common customer and business vision. - A results-oriented, proactive, and self-sufficient work ethic.
