Job Description

Role Overview: Working as the Vice President, Scrum Master at 55ip, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Agile evolution within the organization. Your role will involve overseeing multiple squads, ensuring effective implementation of Agile principles, and driving continuous improvement in product development processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership to deliver high-quality products and achieve strategic business goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead two or three squads as a Scrum Master, facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure productivity and focus. - Drive the Agile evolution strategy and implementation, aligning with organizational goals and objectives. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on product vision, goals, and priorities. - Identify and address impediments to team progress, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. - Monitor and report on key agility metrics, providing insights and recommendations to squads during retrospectives. - Utilize Agile tools like Jira and Confluence to track progress and generate Sprint and project reporting. - Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the teams and across the organization. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies, integrating relevant insights into the organization's Agile practices. - Champion Agile values and principles, advocating for their adoption and integration into the organization's culture. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in Agile project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record of successfully leading Agile transformations in an organization. - Strong understanding of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically. Additional Details: Experience in the Wealth Management and/or Asset Management industry would be a preferred skill. Coaching and mentoring Agile teams is also a plus.,
