Job Description


Role & responsibilities

  • Deliver business insights from a data-driven approach and crunching of numbers to help management take an informed decision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric products that solve user problems and meet their requirements.
  • Discover customer problems, conduct user research, and translate them into user stories.
  • Propose solutions, build mocks, define key success metrics, manage end-to-end execution, and measure product success.
  • Collaborate with engineering, business, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution.
  • Work closely with leadership and stakeholders to define goals and KPIs, and report successes and roadblocks.
  • Be goal-oriented, metrics-driven, and customer-focused, and drive a culture around the same.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative discipline
  • 4 years of experience working as a product manager or in a related role
  • Candidates having experience of 0 to 1 product journey will be strongly preferred
  • Problem solver - exceptionally astute at identifying user's pain points and needs, connecting the dots, and coming up with strategic solutions
  • First principles thinking - a highly creative individual with experience in having built product wireframes and mock-ups.
  • Metric-driven and a love for numbers - in-depth knowledge of Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or similar analytical tools for keeping track of product's success metrics
  • Experience with agile development methodologies: Knowledge of agile development principles and practices. Ability to work effectively with cross- functional teams, including development, design, and testing.
  • Collaboration skills: APMs need to be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • 1+ year experience in the insurance industry is required.

  • Start-up experience will be strongly preferred.
