Product Manager - International Education (Hybrid)

Role & responsibilities The role supports cross functional collaboration between business, content, data science and technology teams to develop cutting-edge educational products. The ideal candidate is passionate about literacy, reading and education, and is excited to harness the power of AI to inspire a love of reading in children around the world. Collaborate with editorial, design, engineering, and AI/ML teams to develop innovative, data driven instructional programs for primary and secondary students. Support the integration of AI technologies (e.g., adaptive learning, personalization, natural language processing) to enhance learning experiences. Conduct stakeholder interviews, customer research, and market analysis to inform product decisions with a deep understanding of user needs. Define and document product requirements and user stories in Agile frameworks, including features involving AI components. Work closely with data and engineering teams to shape AI models and features aligned with pedagogical goals. Track project schedules, coordinate milestones, and ensure on-time delivery across internal and vendor teams. Collaborate with UX/design to conceptualize intelligent, intuitive user experiences, including flows where AI recommendations or interventions are surfaced. Participate in QA and user acceptance testing, including evaluating AI features for accuracy, fairness, and value to the learner. Maintain clear documentation including user guides, support content, and training resources for AI-enhanced features. Liaise with global sales and customer service teams to support successful adoption of AI enabled digital tools. Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and design workshops. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Technology, Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred. At least 3 years of experience in digital product development; experience working on AI enhanced features or products is required. Familiarity with AI fundamentals (e.g., training data, model outputs, personalization algorithms), especially in an educational context. Experience working in a multinational, cross-functional environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate technical AI concepts into user friendly experiences. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Strong project management, Agile, and SDLC experience. Analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement. Self-starter with a growth mindset and an eagerness to learn more about applying AI in education.
