Responsibilities

Perform
3D CAD design
for plastic injection-molded parts using
CATIA V5 R24
.
Create
part designs
using constrained sketches and Boolean operations following inner/outer methodology.
Work within
multi-skeleton product structures
for complex assemblies.
Develop
detailed HVAC part designs
in line with design standards,
DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
, and
DFA (Design for Assembly)
requirements.
Prepare
technical proposals, concept designs, and presentations
for internal and client review.
Generate
detailed drawings
for HVAC components and assemblies with
GD&T
, ensuring accuracy for manufacturing and measurement processes.
Conduct
tolerance stack-up analysis
for assemblies and subcomponents.
Perform
self-checks
of designs to rectify CAD quality, DFM, and DFA issues.
Participate in
vehicle packaging investigations
and make necessary concept modifications.
Manage and maintain
data within PLM systems
(Product Lifecycle Management).
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed
within budget and timeline
.
