Job Title: Product Documentation Designer Role Overview: LEDFlex Group was established in 2010 after identifying a gap in the market for a more comprehensive range of linear lighting products and has now grown into a leading technology supplier. We design, develop and manufacture LED lighting solutions for the UK and International markets. At LEDFlex we continue to lead the way in performance, efficiency and ecological friendly exterior and interior projects. We are looking for a highly skilled Product Documentation Designer to create clear, engaging, and visually compelling documentation that supports the Product Team in conveying our products in both a technical and aesthetically appealing manner. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and technical teams to translate complex product features and technical information into user-friendly documentation, including manuals, guides, installation instructions, and other supporting materials . Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, installation videos and technical documents, ensuring clarity and consistency across all formats. Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, and Technical) to gather detailed product knowledge and create accurate, engaging, and easy-to-follow documentation and videos. Use visual design principles to create diagrams, infographics, and other visual assets that help users understand technical concepts. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, with version control processes and updates aligned with product launches, updates, and releases. Adapt documentation for various formats, including print, web, and digital platforms, to ensure accessibility and ease of use for different audiences. Maintain documentation consistency, tone, and style, ensuring a cohesive experience across all product materials. Preferred Qualification and Experience: Bachelors degree in a technical-related field (i.e. Engineering, Product Design, 3d Design, etc). Strong proficiency in documentation tools (i.e. Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, etc). Experience with visual design tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Figma, AutoCAD) for creating illustrations and visual assets. Strong understanding of product design processes, with the ability to translate technical jargon into simple, clear content. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. Possess a creative outlook with an exceptional eye for detail Passionate about marketing, engineering, and innovation in the lighting industry A portfolio or examples of previous product documentation work would be highly advantageous.
