Product Development Intern

As a Product Development Intern at Prudential in Mumbai, you will be an integral part of the New Product Development team focusing on Health Insurance. Your primary responsibility will involve shaping the Product Documentation & Risk Management practice at Prudential Health. Your key responsibilities will include: Risk Management: Analyzing Product Construct from a risk perspective, ensuring long-term sustainability, and providing solutions to enhance the robustness of the products. Collaboration: Working closely with various departments such as Underwriting, Claims, New Business, Renewal, and Compliance to draft Policy Conditions throughout the customer journey. Ownership: Taking charge of Product Filing Documents, from drafting to obtaining approvals from multiple stakeholders including Compliance, Actuaries, Underwriting, Claims, New Business, and Product Management Committee. Collateral Approval: Ensuring that marketing collaterals align with the approved Product Documents for customers. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that Policy Documents adhere to the existing IRDAI guidelines. Competition Benchmarking: Conducting comparisons with competitors and implementing best practices while drafting customer-facing documents. Qualifications: - Education: MBA in Marketing/ MBA in Insurance/Actuarial Studies (minimum of 4 papers cleared) Skills: - Strong analytical and research skills to interpret complex data effectively. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. - A keen interest in the health insurance industry and product development.
