Product Designer (Shop Drawings)

We are looking for a product designer who can create detailed and accurate shop drawings for our custom-made products. You will work closely with our sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure that our products meet the specifications and expectations of our clients. You will also be responsible for updating and revising the shop drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in product design, industrial design, engineering, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in creating shop drawings for products such as furniture, cabinetry, metalwork, or signage

• Proficiency in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp

• Knowledge of design standards, codes, and best practices for shop drawings

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality

• Creativity and problem-solving skills

• Review the product specifications, requirements, and design briefs from the clients

• Create shop drawings that show the dimensions, materials, finishes, assembly, and installation of the products
