Product Designer – Luxury Furniture

Role Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled and inspired Product Designer to help craft exclusive collections and bespoke furniture that marry timeless form with Indian craftsmanship. You’ll lead design from concept to production, working with artisans, technologists, and clients to ensure each piece is as emotionally resonant as it is expertly made.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop furniture and décor pieces—both ready-to-ship collections and custom projects—aligned with a modern-luxury, artisanal vision.
• Sketch, model, render, and prototype designs using CAD and 3D visualization tools.
• Work closely with craftsmen, workshops, and suppliers to refine design details, materials, and production methods.
• Oversee prototypes, ensuring craftsmanship quality, structural integrity, and finishes meet standards.
• Manage design documentation, tech packs, and production guidelines.
• Participate in creative storytelling, design research, and trends exploration.
• Present design proposals to internal stakeholders or clients with compelling narratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or relevant field.
• 3–7 years of experience in product/furniture design, preferably in design studios or premium home décor brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating furniture and décor design with a mix of production and custom commissions.
• Proficiency in CAD (Rhino, SolidWorks), 3D modeling, and rendering software.
• Deep appreciation or experience with Indian craftsmanship and heritage techniques.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, material selection, and quality assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in articulating design intent.

• Expertise in lighting design or decorative objects.
• Network with Indian artisans, fabricators, or bespoke manufacturers.
• Fluent in Telugu or Hindi (for direct collaboration with local artisans
