This role is for one of Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bangalore, Bengaluru, Karnataka JobType: full-time About the Role: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer with a strong foundation in User Experience (UX) to join our design team. In this role, you'll work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to craft intuitive, elegant, and user-centric digital experiences. You will be responsible for understanding user behavior, identifying pain points, and creating scalable design solutions that enhance product usability and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone who is deeply passionate about solving problems through design and enjoys balancing user needs with business goals in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to understand user needs and behaviors. Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Design Execution: Design intuitive interfaces and interaction patterns that are visually appealing and consistent with the product's goals and brand guidelines. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure feasibility and alignment on design decisions. Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Validate design decisions through user testing and iteration. Information Architecture & UX Flows: Define user journeys, site maps, and UX flows to ensure that products are easy to navigate and meet user needs. Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a consistent design language and components library that can scale across products and teams. Feedback & Iteration: Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and users into design iterations. Be open to critique and proactive in offering solutions. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a UX/Product Designer in a tech or digital product environment. Strong portfolio showcasing UX process, problem-solving, and final visual outputs. Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, and others . Solid understanding of design principles, UX patterns, interaction design, and responsive design . Ability to interpret and use user research, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills to present design rationale clearly. Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS) or close collaboration experience with engineering teams. Experience designing for web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms. Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with UX trends and best practices.
