Basic Qualifications 6+ years of experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a people management or lead role. Experience working with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work. Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite). Bachelor s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualification Experience designing for healthcare, wellness, or complex enterprise platforms. Deep understanding of accessibility and inclusive design standards. Strong skills in user research, usability testing, and data-driven design. Experience scaling design systems and processes. Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels. Advanced degree in a design-related field. About the Role We re looking for an inspiring Product Design Manager to lead our CareHub platform, a core part of our member and clinician experience. As the first design leader based at Hinge Health s Bengaluru office, you ll report directly to the Head of Product Design and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations. You ll lead, manage, and grow a team of 5+ designers to deliver innovative, user-centered solutions that drive engagement and improve health outcomes. You ll play a key role in scaling our design practice, fostering a culture of creativity and inclusion, and ensuring our products meet the needs of diverse users. What You ll Accomplish Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product designers, fostering growth and high performance. Set and communicate a clear design vision and strategy for the CareHub platform, aligned with company goals. Drive end-to-end design processes, from discovery and ideation through delivery and iteration, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations partners to deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions. Champion design best practices, accessibility, and inclusive design principles across the team. Use data and user research to inform design decisions and measure impact. Advocate for the needs of both members and clinicians, ensuring our solutions are intuitive and effective. Contribute to the evolution of Hinge Health s design culture and processes. This is a Bengaluru-based role that involves regular interaction and collaboration with Hinge Health colleagues in San Francisco, CA. Time zones: San Francisco is the Pacific Time Zone, which is 12 hours and 30 minutes behind India Standard Time for example, 8am in San Francisco is 8:30pm in Bengaluru. Standard working hours in San Francisco are between 8am - 6pm. For this role, applicants should be open to meetings in the late evening following India Standard Time.
