Product Design Manager

Job Description As a Product Design Manager for Electric 2Wheeler at our Research & Development department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new high-speed 2-wheelers and new platforms for electric 2-wheelers. Your key tasks will include productionizing new high-speed 2-wheelers within the planned budget, streamlining product quality by implementing processes, developing systems for field feedback and improvement, initiating New Product Development (NPD) processes, and developing variants. You will also study regulations, prepare proposals for new products and technology, and ensure the right vendor selection. Additionally, you will be in charge of setting up the R&D structure and team to drive innovation and growth. Key Responsibilities: - Designing & developing new high-speed 2-wheelers - Designing & developing new platforms for electric 2-wheelers - Productionizing new high-speed 2-wheelers within the planned budget - Streamlining product quality and implementing processes - Developing systems for field feedback and improvement - Initiating New Product Development (NPD) processes - Developing variants - Studying regulations and preparing/implementing actions to meet them - Studying & preparing proposals for new products & technology - Selecting the right vendors - Setting up R&D structure and team Qualifications Required: - BE Mechanical - 8-10 years of experience - Awareness of CAD software such as CATIA & Creo for part modelling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle level layouts - Knowledge of Windchill (PDM), Enovia (PLM), ATIS - Knowledge of Hyper mesh & CAE analysis Please note that the mentioned turnaround time for this position is 15 days.
