Product Design Intern

As a Design Intern at Microsoft, you will play a crucial role in defining specific product needs based on user insights and creating design concepts that optimize the emotional and functional experience of products, software, devices, or services. Your focus will be on end-to-end user experiences, balancing business and technical tradeoffs. You will contribute to the broader design system and increase its adoption and consistent usage. Your responsibilities will include: - Seeking information about the customer through research to understand their business, needs, and strategy, and keeping up to date with customer business outcomes - Engaging with relevant partners to support business outcomes and jointly developing plans based on a shared understanding of the customer - Coordinating internal peers across functions to support business outcomes and enable execution of customer success through One Microsoft - Acting as the voice of the customer and Partner by identifying and sharing feedback around technical capabilities, blockers, and insights with internal teams - Leveraging development opportunities and building partnerships with technical teams to enhance your Customer Success discipline expertise Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field - Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant internship/work experience in consulting, pre-sales/post-sales, business analysis, technical sales, technology solutions, solution architecture, or change management At Microsoft, you will have the chance to work on real-world projects, collaborate with teams worldwide, and contribute to cutting-edge technology.
