Convenience to buy anytime, anywhere Ease of comparing policies Seamless paperless experience of buying About the role: As a Assistant Product Designer at Paytm, you will report to the (Sr) Product Design Manager and collaborate with a diverse team of designers, product managers, and engineers. Your goal will be to create intuitive, user-friendly, and delightful design solutions that drive our product vision forward. Responsibilities: Design ExecutionOwn and drive design projects from ideation to delivery, ensuring that design solutions are functional and aesthetically pleasing. User-Centric ApproachConduct user research and usability testing, incorporating insights to improve design outcomes. Prototyping & WireframingDevelop prototypes and wireframes to clearly communicate design ideas and gather stakeholders' feedback. Design System ContributionCollaborate on the evolution of Paytm's design system, ensuring consistency across platforms. CollaborationWork closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring designs to life, balancing user needs with business goals. Feedback IntegrationEngage in design reviews, accept feedback, and continuously refine designs to enhance the user experience. Mentorship & LearningShare your knowledge with peers and stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies to inspire your work and the team. Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role Experience4 to 6 years of experience in product design with a strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and successful projects. EducationBachelor’s or Master’s in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.Design ExpertiseDeep knowledge of user-centred design principles and proficiency with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Vercel or similar AI-powered design and prototyping tools. Problem-SolvingStrong analytical skills to transform complex problems into simple, elegant design solutions. CollaborationExcellent communication and collaboration skills, able to articulate design decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams. AdaptabilityExperience in working in a fast-paced environment, embracing feedback, and iterating on designs.
