Product Control - Associate

As a Product Control Associate in the Finance team, your role involves defining, refining, and delivering set goals for the firm. You will collaborate with various departments like Finance, P&A, Risk, and other groups, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills. Your responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and supervising various reporting tasks, supporting regulatory submissions, testing system enhancements, establishing relationships, escalating issues, and implementing new accounting standards. You will also drive process improvements, coach team members, and create financial reports. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and supervise month-end reporting, Quarterly SEC 10Q/K Reporting, and Regulatory Reporting tasks. - Support periodic Recovery & Resolution appendices and other US Regulatory submissions. - Review and test system enhancements for financial and regulatory reporting. - Establish relationships and provide support to Card leaders, Finance, Project Managers, and control groups. - Escalate issues constructively and present complex information clearly to Management. - Assist in implementing new accounting standards and reporting requirements. - Drive process improvements, coach team members, and create financial reports. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years experience in accounting (internal or external). - Ability to grasp concepts quickly, develop a plan, and execute for results. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills. - Ability to summarize data, formulate a concise message, and communicate clearly to Management. - Strong multitasking and organizational skills. - Ability to drive projects and lead teams. - Primarily 2PM - 11PM shift, extending during critical business days. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and Hyperion Essbase preferred. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP preferable. - Experience in the Retail Banking domain in the Controllers area preferred. - Degree in Accounting & Finance, CA / CPA / MBA Finance candidate preferred.,
