Job Description

As a Product Content Specialist III on the Digital Content Platforms team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in handling new product content and content updates, supporting SOP documentation and training, prioritizing and managing content error requests, and collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance content health and ensure top-notch quality. Your exceptional communication and project management skills, along with a keen eye for detail, will be key to your success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with collaborators to collect product specifications and relevant data/metadata for highly structured product descriptions - Create SOPs, process documentation, and training materials; conduct training sessions for colleagues and requestors - Manage content error intake queues to ensure timely issue resolution - Track and report on content error trends, perform root cause analysis, and proactively address issues - Ensure appropriate product data structuring and formatting to support global websites - Confirm content consistency with corporate style requirements, brand guidelines, and legal regulations - Review taxonomy categorizations for accuracy and applicable specifications - Collaborate with business groups to prioritize content backfill for improved Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - Communicate effectively with business partners and colleagues for on-time content delivery - Apply process improvement strategies, including PPI (Practical Process Improvement) **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, a scientific field, or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining content within content management systems - Familiarity with global regulatory and compliance agencies such as OSHA, ANSI, FDA, CSA, CE, and NFPA - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Access, for working with and analyzing large data sets **Additional Company Details:** - Thermo Fisher Scientific is a respected and growing organization with an outstanding strategy for the future.
