Job Description

Role & responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE /POSITION

To Develop & Implement the DOP & MOP in the cost effective & time efficient manner with develop capacity in outsourcing area with adopting production technique.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

Primary Responsibilities :

1. To implement MOP & DOP successfully.

2. Follow up of components in the areas of Kolhapur, Ichalkaranji, Karad, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

3. Stage inspection of components on regular basis & final inspection as & when required.

4. Assistance to Casting cell for Rough Machining of components produced at various foundries at Kolhapur.

5. Coordinating with Planning department and Machine shop

6. To make machining quality feed-back reports for sub-vendors of rework & rejection.

7. To make evaluation and approval of Sub vendors.

8. To implement corrective & preventive action for rework / rejection jobs with monitoring effectiveness.

9. Analysis of rework / reject job cost of poor quality.

10. To ensure correct machining process to be adopted by the operators of sub vendors.

11. Maintain, control and Check inventory of castings at vendors end

12. To develop & implement all operations in one roof of sub vendors to reduce machining lead time.

13. To arrange sub vendor meetings on quarterly yearly basis.

Secondary Responsibilities :-

1. Follow up with various subcon suppliers from Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad & Satara

2. To give feedback of poor quality of castings to QA / casting department.

3. Follow up with transport services at Kolhapur for components of purchase department with arrangement of freight payment & logistics.

4. Arrange subcon machining supplier inspection call and NCR closing.

5. New Vendor development for subcon machining commodity.
