Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order Management:
• Creating Supplier master in ERP system
• Generate purchase orders with accurate specifications, quantities, and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor order status and follow-up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Weekly payment process with necessary approvals
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Adhere to company procurement policies and procedures, including ethical sourcing guidelines.
• Manage supplier risk by conducting due diligence and monitoring compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and address potential supply chain disruptions.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Track key procurement metrics such as PO release time , spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Generate reports to provide Open orders ,deliveries
• Required Skills and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronics or a related field ,commerce degree can be considered.
• Experience:3:5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Procurement cycle time
• On-time delivery rate from suppliers
• Cost savings achieved through procurement initiatives
