Job Description

You will be the Procurement Practice Senior Manager at Accenture, with an overall experience of 15-20 years in Procurement. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Supply Chain effectively, providing insights to enhance efficiency and drive profitability by eliminating waste. This role involves overseeing the flow of goods and services, encompassing all processes from raw materials to final products. Operational procurement, which involves acquiring goods and services essential for daily business operations, will also be part of your duties. In this position, you will be expected to have a minimum of 5-10 years of Category Management experience and have managed a substantial spend of 400-500 MUSD in the IT Hardware and Software category. You should have a background working in complex multinational corporations with diverse functions, business units, geographical locations, matrix reporting structures, and virtual environments, preferably in IT, ITES, System Integrator, GCC, MNC, or Telecom-related organizations. A proactive approach and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role. Your key responsibilities will include performing category management and sourcing activities for local projects, implementing and executing category strategies, designing and creating RFP documents aligned with global/regional strategies, selecting suppliers based on facts, negotiating agreements with suppliers, and incorporating best practice metrics into agreements. You will also collaborate with the business to optimize the supplier base and implement key performance indicators. As the Procurement Practice Senior Manager, you will play a vital role in driving efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing profitability within the Supply Chain Management team at Accenture. Your extensive experience and expertise in procurement, coupled with your ability to navigate through complex stakeholder environments, will contribute significantly to the success of the organization.,
