Procurement Officer

As a Procurement Manager at our company, your role will involve various responsibilities related to procurement, vendor development, store management, and maintaining reports. Your expertise in developing local vendors, negotiating with vendors to reduce costs, and managing supplier relations will be crucial for the success of our procurement operations. You will also be responsible for preparing purchase orders, developing purchase strategies, and monitoring the installation & commissioning of machines within stipulated timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Procuring materials from pan India and preparing purchase orders and agreements - Reviewing and processing purchase orders - Monitoring the installation & commissioning of machines and staying updated with new technology trends - Preparing quarterly physical inventory reports for Machinery - Planning and budgeting purchase functions, including cost estimation and contract negotiations - Developing local vendors, reducing procurement costs, and negotiating with vendors - Travelling to vendor locations as required - Maintaining stock of material through stock verification and documentation - Developing various MIS reports as needed - Working on ERP for efficient procurement operations Qualifications: - Graduate/MBA with 4-5 years of experience in handling Procurement & sourcing - Proficient in negotiations, networking, and managing supplier/vendor relations - Ability to prioritize deliverables in high-volume work environments - Managing compliances related to procurement activities - Prior experience in machinery procurement, vendor management, and negotiable skill is preferred If you are passionate about procurement, vendor development, and have the required qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply by sharing your updated CV with a cover letter to humanresource@recity.in.
