Procurement Manager, VDO Project

Role Overview: The HAECO Group, an independent global provider of high-quality MRO services, is looking for a Procurement Manager, VDO Project to lead and manage procurement functions for their operations in Southeast Asia. Reporting to the General Manager, Strategy Planning & OEM, you will be responsible for supporting procurement-related requests/projects and contract development in the region. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure proper corporate governance in procurement activities, complying with policies and procedures while providing continuous input for improvement. - Lead procurement requests and contract development, achieving KPI targets such as shortening lead times and cost savings. - Identify opportunities for executing procurement strategies and monitor supplier performance effectively. - Mitigate safety and sustainability risks associated with outsourcing. - Implement good procurement practices and controls, leading projects with long-term financial impact. - Conduct strategic analysis on data for cost-saving opportunities and proper risk management. - Engage in staff initiatives, people management, cost-saving studies, and group contract development. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 7 years of solid procurement experience. - Product and market knowledge in related categories of purchases is advantageous. - Recognized degree in any discipline, with procurement/business/management-related qualifications preferred. - Professional qualification in procurement and supply is necessary. - Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
