PROCUREMENT MANAGER

As a Procurement Manager, you will be expected to have complete knowledge of local and upcountry markets for the purchase of materials. Your role will involve extensive travel to discover new markets for quality products and establish connections with new millers, wholesalers, traders, and farmers for procurement purposes. It is essential to maintain strong relationships with millers across India who produce a variety of grocery products and have a good reputation in the market. Your responsibilities will include identifying and purchasing quality materials, showcasing strong negotiation skills, and staying updated on market trends to plan procurement effectively. You should have a good understanding of the rules and regulations of FSSAI to ensure compliance in all procurement activities. This position falls under the Purchase/Procurement department, and the key skills required for this role include procurement, distributor management, purchase, quality check, and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should hold a Graduation/MBA degree in Material Management and have 2-5 years of experience in an FMCG/Grocery company.
