Roles Procurement of Fabricated (Light / Medium / Heavy / General) & Sheet Metal items, Precision Machined Items, Mechanical Bought outs required for ASRS & other Equipment Responsibilities Develop new vendors for Heavy fabrication & machined items, Precision Machined Items, General Fabrication & Sheet Metal Parts, Mechanical Bought outs to meet increasing demand & reduce overall cost. Prepare cost estimation to support pre-sales team. Floating RFQ as per the Purchase Requisitions and drawings. Coordination with Vendors and Engineering team for technical clarifications/ requirements. Negotiation with vendors, prepare comparison sheet and getting approval on same. PO placement on successful bidder with required schedule Follow-up with vendors for on time delivery Coordination with QA/stores personnel for various documentation. Co-coordination with accounts for vendor payment
