Procurement Executive

As a Procurement Head at Pon Pure Chemical India Private Limited based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, your role will involve overseeing various aspects of procurement operations for the organization. You will negotiate rates, credit terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to optimize costs and maintain a continuous supply chain. Ensuring quality and regulatory compliance for packaging materials will be crucial, including validating samples and resolving quality issues in collaboration with QA/QC and EHS teams. Furthermore, you will be responsible for forecasting packaging material requirements, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and adhering to documentation and SOP guidelines. Cost optimization and innovation will be key focus areas, where you will explore alternative packaging solutions and collaborate with sustainability and R&D teams to evaluate eco-friendly options. Your role will also involve coordinating with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability and proper handling of packaging materials. Monitoring vendor performance, tracking delivery timelines, rejection rates, and maintaining a performance dashboard will be essential to drive vendor accountability and performance improvement.
