Procurement Executive

The Role :

We are seeking a sharp, strategic, and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our supply chain team. This role is critical to our success, as you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for key product categories. You will ensure we have the right products, at the right time, right cost, and right quality to meet our ambitious growth plans and uphold the premium standards of the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturers

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing suppliers.

- Conduct supplier performance reviews and manage continuous improvement initiatives.

- Lead negotiations on costs, payment terms, contracts, and MOQs to achieve significant cost savings without compromising on quality.

- Analyze market trends and commodity pricing to inform negotiation strategies and mitigate risks.

- Work closely with finance to manage budgets and ensure optimal cash flow.

- Create, place, and accurately track purchase orders with suppliers.

- Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any shipment or customs clearance issues.

- Monitor inventory levels and work with demand planning to prevent stock-outs or overstock situations.

- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and market insights for management.

- Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to align on product launches, promotions, and sales forecasts.

- Partner with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to address any product quality issues with suppliers and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

What We're Looking For (Requirements):

- Proven experience (3-6 years) in a procurement, buying, or supply chain role, preferably within consumer goods, retail, FMCG.

- A strong negotiator with a proven track record of delivering cost savings.

- Excellent understanding of international procurement processes, including Incoterms, logistics, and import/export procedures.

- Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and suppliers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
