Job Title: Procurement Executive

Location: Annasalai Mountroad.

Department: Procurement.

Reports To: Procurement head

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Procurement Executive to manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination for our organization. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, experience in procurement, and the ability to communicate fluently in Hindi and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management & Negotiation:
  • Identify and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other necessary items.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality control.
  • Procurement & Inventory Management:
  • Process purchase orders and ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
  • Track inventory levels and place orders as per demand forecasts.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for stock updates.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Ensure all purchased materials meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations periodically.
  • Maintain procurement records, including invoices, contracts, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordination & Reporting:
  • Work closely with finance and logistics teams for smooth order processing and payments.
  • Provide regular reports on procurement expenses, cost savings, and vendor performance.
  • Address and resolve any supply chain disruptions or vendor-related issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in procurement, supply chain, or a related role.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Hindi & English (written & spoken) is mandatory.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement software (SAP, Tally, or similar tools preferred).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement for manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics industries.
  • Knowledge of local and national procurement regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple vendor contracts efficiently.
