As a Procurement Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to analyze suppliers and identify the most suitable ones capable of delivering high-quality products at competitive prices. You will negotiate with suppliers to optimize lead-time, cost, and quality to benefit the company. Managing suppliers to achieve cost, delivery, schedule, and quality objectives will be essential. Based on portfolio analyses and supplier preferences, you will develop purchasing strategies. It is crucial to define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies by utilizing market and competitive data. You will be in regular communication with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of the final product and develop procurement strategies to achieve cost-saving targets. In this role, you will review and manage the supplier base to align with the sourcing strategy. Creating monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on sourcing requirements will be part of your responsibilities. Compliance with commercial, legal, and contractual requirements in all procurement transactions is essential. Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors for continuous quality improvement.
