Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services.
Evaluate, negotiate, and select suppliers to achieve the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.
Prepare and issue purchase orders in compliance with company policies.
Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and contribute to project costing and tender preparation.
Participate in tendering processes, including RFQs, bid evaluation, and vendor finalization.
Maintain vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely deliveries.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical specifications and requirements.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and industry trends.
Maintain accurate procurement records and support audits and management reporting.
Drive cost-reduction initiatives and implement procurement best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/B. Tech/bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial) or Supply Chain/Logistics Management.
3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in automation, manufacturing, Electrical or industrial sectors.
Experience in costing, tendering, and end-to-end procurement processes.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and suppliers simultaneously
Understanding of technical specifications, vendor quality standards, and material standards.
