Procurement Engineer

Hiring Procurement Engineer and job location is Navi Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for IT infrastructure products and services (servers, networking equipment, software licenses, cloud services, etc.)

- Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, including purchase order creation, tracking, and vendor follow up.

- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor performance.

- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

- Analyze procurement data and prepare reports on spend, savings, and vendor performance for management review.

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in IT procurement.

- Support asset management processes, including tracking and documentation of hardware and software assets.

- Participate in contract renewal and expiry meetings, ensuring continuity of IT services.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering

- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably with a focus on IT infrastructure or technology.

- Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Sharepoint) and Microsoft Office tools.

- Knowledge of IT infrastructure products, vendors, and market trends is a distinct advantage.

- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is preferred but not mandatory.

Desired Skills:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

- Experience with vendor management and contract management.
