Job Description

A Procurement Assistant supports the procurement department by performing administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth purchasing of goods and services. Their job duties typically include researching and identifying potential suppliers, obtaining price quotations, and assisting in negotiating terms and conditions. They help create, review, and process purchase orders while tracking order status to ensure timely delivery. Maintaining a comprehensive supplier database and strong vendor relationships are key responsibilities.

Other essential duties involve monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock counts, and maintaining accurate procurement records. Procurement Assistants assist in supplier evaluations, cost analysis for cost-saving initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies. They also prepare procurement reports and collaborate internally to meet departmental needs, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the procurement function.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,363.28 - ₹31,779.02 per month
