Procurement Assistant

As a Procurement Executive at Enerture Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a leading Solar EPC solutions provider committed to accelerating India's transition to clean energy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and supply chain team. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the procurement of materials, services, and equipment required for solar EPC projects. - Identifying and evaluating vendors/suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, and reliability. - Requesting and comparing quotations from vendors and maintaining procurement records. - Coordinating with the design and project execution teams to ensure timely procurement based on BOQ and project timelines. - Preparing and issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and following up on delivery timelines. - Maintaining documentation of purchases, pricing, and other important data. - Tracking inventory to ensure material availability and avoid shortages. - Supporting in the vendor onboarding process including documentation and compliance. - Ensuring cost-effective procurement without compromising quality and timelines. - Learning and utilizing ERP or procurement software (if applicable). Key Skills & Competencies: - Basic understanding of procurement/supply chain functions. - Good communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word). - Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced solar industry. - Ability to multitask and handle work under pressure. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: - B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil). - Basic understanding of solar PV components (panels, inverters, cables, etc.) will be an added advantage. - Internships or academic projects related to solar or renewable energy are a plus.
