Procurement Analyst - (Entry Level)

Role Overview: As a Procurement Analyst at the Pre-bid stage, you will play a vital role in supporting bid preparation by analyzing supplier quotes and conducting detailed techno-commercial evaluations. Your critical role will involve assisting the Project Procurement Manager in making informed decisions based on identifying suitable vendors, summarizing competitive pricing, evaluating technical alignment, and developing accurate cost estimates. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth techno-commercial comparisons of multiple vendor quotes - Prepare bid summaries and present inputs to the Project Procurement Manager for decision-making - Maintain supplier quote records, pricing benchmarks, and historical bid data for future reference - Analyze RFQ requirements and scope of supply in alignment with project specifications - Handle ad-hoc requests related to data analysis, pricing history, and other analytical needs as required Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical and commercial acumen - Ability to interpret technical documents and perform accurate comparisons - Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering - 2-4 years of procurement experience with exposure to bid/proposal support and techno-commercial evaluations - Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of engineering specifications - Proven ability to take initiative, with high motivation and a strong track record of delivering results independently in a self-directed work environment Siemens Energy is more than just an energy technology company with a global presence and a commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
