Procurement Analyst - (Entry Level)

As a Procurement Analyst at the Pre-bid stage, you will play a vital role in supporting bid preparation by analyzing supplier quotes and conducting detailed techno-commercial evaluations. Your critical role involves assisting the Project Procurement Manager with informed decision-making based on identifying suitable vendors, summarizing competitive pricing, evaluating technical alignment, and developing accurate cost estimates. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct in-depth techno-commercial comparisons of multiple vendor quotes - Prepare bid summaries and present inputs to the Project Procurement Manager for decision-making - Maintain supplier quote records, pricing benchmarks, and historical bid data for future reference - Analyze RFQ requirements and scope of supply in alignment with project specifications - Handle ad-hoc requests related to data analysis, pricing history, and other analytical needs as required Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical and commercial acumen - Ability to interpret technical documents and perform accurate comparisons - Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering - 2-4 years of procurement experience with exposure to bid/proposal support and techno-commercial evaluations - Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of engineering specifications - Proven ability to take initiative, with high motivation and a strong track record of delivering results independently in a self-directed work environment In addition, Siemens Energy, where you will be working, is more than just an energy technology company.
