  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking operations

Role Overview

The Process Specialist Investment Banking will be responsible for end-to-end trade processing

activities across various asset classes. The role involves ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant

processing of trades while coordinating with internal teams and external counterparties in a fast-paced,

global banking environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end trade processing activities across the trade lifecycle, including confirmation,

settlement, and reconciliation

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of trades in line with defined SLAs
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve trade breaks and discrepancies efficiently
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as front office, middle office, and operations teams
  • Liaise with external counterparties, custodians, and clearing agents as required
  • Maintain accurate process documentation and operational records
  • Ensure adherence to operational controls, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives and reporting requirements

Must-Have Skills

2-5 Years exp. with 1-2 years of supervisory exp. in Middle and Back Office Capital Market

Ops( Securities Ops, Wealth and Asset Management Ops, Exposure to financial Instruments & Financial

markets). Activities like Settlements, Trade Delivery, Affirmation and Confirmation, Failed Trade

Tracking, Currency Balancing Monitoring, Depository and Custody Review.

  • Hands-on experience in Trade Processing
  • Strong knowledge of Investment Banking operations
  • Clear understanding of the trade lifecycle (confirmation, settlement, reconciliation)
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • High attention to detail with strong accuracy and analytical skills

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working in night shift or US shift operations
  • Knowledge of financial instruments such as Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives
  • Exposure to global banking and financial services processes
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
