Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Process Safety Management
: Implement and sustain site-level PSM systems; coordinate PHA/HAZOP/HIRA studies; manage MOC & PSSR; ensure periodic review & action closure.
Technical Safety Reviews:
Review P&IDs, layouts, and equipment design for safety integrity; assess vent sizing, relief systems, & interlocks; collaborate with Engineering and Operations for safe design.
Incident Investigation & Learning:
Lead or support investigations of process incidents; identify root causes, implement CAPA, and facilitate lessons-learned sharing.
Training & Safety Culture:
Conduct process safety and reactive chemistry training; build awareness and promote a proactive safety culture across teams.
Audit & Continuous Improvement:
Support audits, monitor PSM KPIs, ensure compliance, and drive initiatives on inherent safety, automation, and relief system optimization.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:
B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Process Safety / Industrial Safety Engineering.
Experience:
4 to 6 years (for Senior Executive) in Process Safety, preferably in Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or API manufacturing industries or Oil & Gas industries.
