Process & Manufacturing Engineering Lead

Project Role Description :

Lead and plan manufacturing engineering programs. Lead teams of engineers who define processes to fabricate, assemble, inspect and test new products and machines based on production engineering and design principles. Define the supporting tools and fixtures needed for production. Ensure teams are developing product specifications and define the quality standards and inspection methods for manufacturing products and machines.

15 years full time educationSummary: As a Manufacturing Engineering Lead, you will be at the forefront of planning and leading manufacturing engineering programs. Your typical day will involve guiding teams of engineers in defining processes for fabricating, assembling, inspecting, and testing new products and machines. You will also focus on establishing the necessary tools and fixtures for production, ensuring that your teams are developing comprehensive product specifications while defining quality standards and inspection methods for manufacturing processes. Your leadership will be crucial in driving innovation and efficiency in the manufacturing environment, fostering collaboration among team members to achieve project goals effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation. - Strong understanding of production engineering principles and practices. - Experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes and quality standards. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects. - Familiarity with tools and fixtures design for manufacturing applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering L2 Automation. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
